Contrast Save Job with Settings → Export Backup, which protects the shop-wide business identity, vendors, pricing tables, logo, and payments.
- 4
Select Clear Job, then use Open Job to restore the saved sample.
- 5
Change a quantity or another job detail and create a revised Quote.
- 6
Change the customer document state to Invoice and create the updated document.
- 7
After payment, reopen the job, choose Paid, and create the Paid Invoice.
- 8
For a reorder, open the previous job, update its name and any changed details, then save it as the new editable job.
- 9
Keep the generated customer document whenever the historical quoted price must be preserved, because reopened jobs calculate with the browser’s current settings.

The Production Quote Tool does not create a hosted customer database.
Instead, each job can be saved as a portable file that you control.
After entering the customer, apparel, print locations, and other job details, select Save Job.
The tool downloads an editable file ending in dot A-L-T.
This file contains the job name, apparel rows, additional items, print locations, tax and shipping choices, document status, and selected production method.
A saved job is different from the backup created in Settings.
Export Backup protects your business information, vendors, pricing tables, logo, and payment settings.
Save Job protects the editable information for one particular customer job.
To continue working later, select Open Job and choose the saved A-L-T file.
The tool restores the editable workspace without immediately recalculating the job.
You can change the quantities, apparel, decoration, shipping, or other details before creating an updated document.
A saved Quote can also become an Invoice.
Open the job, change the customer document status from Quote to Invoice, and create the new document.
After payment, reopen the job again, choose Paid, and create a Paid Invoice showing a zero-dollar balance.
Save the job after each important change so its editable file reflects the current stage.
For a reorder, open the customer’s previous job and use it as your starting point.
Update the job name, quantities, garments, artwork details, or production method—then save it under a new name.
The original job remains available, while the new file becomes the editable record for the reorder.
Saved jobs contain the work—not a frozen copy of your pricing.
When a job is reopened, calculations use the pricing and business settings currently stored in that browser.
That allows an older job to be quoted using today’s costs, but it also means the A-L-T file should not be treated as a historical price record.
Keep the generated customer document when the original quoted price must be preserved.
Select Clear Job when you are ready to begin with a blank workspace.
This clears the current customer job without removing your shop settings.
Save the job, reopen it when needed, and reuse the work instead of entering the same order again.
